Nicholas Plemons Wins Loudon County Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Eaton 4th grader Nicholas Plemons who won the Loudon County Spelling Bee on December 4th. Maria Urias was one of the third place winners, and Alex Hines also represented our school.
Kim Wilson Named B97FM Teacher of the Month

Ms. Kim Wilson, Pre-K teacher at Eaton, was honored on November 20 at the B97FM Teacher of the Year. Graham Wolfe and his grandmother nominated Mrs. Wilson. She was suprised with a visit from the Bee, disc jockeys, and representatives from Children's Hospital. Congratulations to Mrs. Wilson!
Kids Care -- Buddy's Race for Cancer

To help support our own Hannah Lawson, Mrs. Mullen and Mrs. Shoemaker, participated in the Buddy's Race for Cancer. Also participating were Jamie Dallas and Ali Angelos.
Straight A's on 2008 Tennessee Dept. of Education School Report Card

Congratuations to all the students and staff at Eaton for receiving straight A's on their School Report Card. This is the third year in a row for this accomplishment.

Kids Care Club Contributes Gingerbread Houses to Fantasy of Trees

Kids Care Club continues to serve our community. Their most recent project was creating beautiful gingerbread houses to donate to Fantasy of Trees (benefitting Children's Hospital).
US Cellular Offers $100,000 to Schools
Schools are eligible to win $100,000 through US Cellular's "Calling All Communities" program. Local communities will decide which 10 schools around the country will share in a $1 million giveaway by the company.
