School Announcements
Registration Day is August 4
All Eaton students will come to school on Wednesday, August 4 to meet their teacher and fill out registration papers. All new or transfer students should try to come between 8-12. Parents of new students will need to bring the child's birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record, and proof of residence.

Students in grades 1-4 will return to school on Monday August 9. School hours are 8:05-3:05. All you veteran Eaton parents, please remember that traffic is always at its worst those first two weeks of school, so you probably want to allow some extra travel time. We look forward to seeing everyone again.
Kindergarten and Pre-K students have a staggered start beginning Monday, August 16. Half of the classes will come Aug. 16-17; the other half on Aug. 18-19. All kindergarten and Pre-K students will attend on Friday, August 20.

ISTE2010 Denver - Eaton Teacher Presents
Special Education Teacher, Ashley Talley, and former 4th grade teacher (and now the new Principal of Philadelphia Elementary), Maria Warren, were invited to present at this year's International Educational Technology Conference in Denver. They presented a model classroom lesson using Voice Thread as a tool to hear student voices. This is quite an honor as they are the first Loudon County Educators invited to share at this important gathering of thousands of educators from across the world.
